Dr. Biswajit Mukhopadhyay, P.E. with over 30 years of experience is a licensed professional engineer in the United States. He specializes in hydrology, hydraulics, geomorphology, and water resource engineering and planning. He has worked at local, state, national, and international levels. He has completed projects for various cities, state and federal governmental agencies, and international lending organizations such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Dr. Mukhopadhyay has published more than 50 technical papers in peer-reviewed first-class international journals and have contributed two chapters in the Handbook of Applied Hydrology, published by McGraw Hills in 2016 (in honor or 50th anniversary of Professor Van Te .Chow’s original publication of Handbook of Applied Hydrology).
